Cup Draws for Season 2010Strathglass begin their defence of the Balliemore Cup with a re-run of last season’s final when they travel to play Kinlochshiel at Kirkton in the first round of the 2010 competition. The match is scheduled for April 10, with the winners at home to either Beauly or Oban Celtic in the quarter-finals on May 15. Other teams in Strath’s half of the draw for the national intermediate championship are Kilmory, Skye and Taynuilt. In the MacTavish Cup first round on April 3, Strathglass are at home to fellow North Division One side Kilmallie. Prize for the victors of that tie is a home quarter-final against either Lochaber or Inverness on May 1. The Strathglass second team have been drawn at home to Lochaber in the first round of the Aberdein Considine Sutherland Cup on April 10. Winners of that match will be away to either Kingussie or Boleskine in round two on May 22. In the Strathdearn Cup, Strathglass drew a first round bye but have a tough task away to trophy holders Fort William in the second round which is scheduled to be played in the week beginning May 24. The winners will be at home to either Glengarry or Lochbroom in the quarter-finals during the week beginning June 7. The full draws will be posted here as they become available. |
