Ladies
Strathglass Ladies were one of the first teams to be set up in the North of Scotland, and quickly became a force in the lower leagues of women’s shinty. The club were beaten finalists in the WCA Challenge Cup in 2012, before going on to lift the trophy twice in succession in 2013 and 2014. They were crowned National Division Two winners in 2015, although they elected not to take promotion.
In subsequent years, the establishment of other teams in the area, including in neighbouring Glenurquhart, has provided more competition on the park, but also off the park for players. However, the club has continued to endure reaching the final of the Challenge Cup again in 2017 and in 2024, reached the semi finals of the Challenge Cup and finished second in the North Division Two. The 2024 season also saw the club awarded the WCA Club Development Award.
